You Aint Never Caught A Chicken

Despite two thirds of our troupe being nigh on incapacitated, we had a productive day finishing off our second piece, The Nun’s Priest’s Tale. We spent the morning choreographing and fine tuning the dance scene, and the afternoon physicalising the final chase scene between the farmer’s wife and the fox, trying to make the action entertaining, without making it too slapstick. Although this show is primarily aimed at children we want to be able to perform to adults and them still enjoy it.

We have worked the play through to the end, so all we have to do is have the lines nailed, rehearse, make sure the piece is tight and we are ready to take the two shows to the streets…
